ABOUT SPENCER GREY
The voyage of the spaces we inhabit—both physically and emotionally. Through limited edition prints, I aim to capture moments of quiet contemplation in our increasingly chaotic world.

The Artist
This Being that traverses realms as Spencer Grey first recognized the calling to create in elementary school, sharing comic strips and drawings with fellow students and staff. The active imagination that flows through this vessel demanded expression even then. The name Grey emerged during a sacred conversation in 2008 with dear friends Chris Brown and Chris Black. Guided by mushroom wisdom, these brothers recognized that Grey—spelled as Spencer felt compelled to spell it—represented the frequency that resonated with this Being's essence. At nineteen years old, living independently for the first time, Spencer adopted this name as part of the journey into self-discovery. Since then, the path has wound through many chapters: rebellion and train hopping, squatting and punk rock communities, heartbreak and healing, the birth of a son, spiritual awakening, sobriety, romance, and the ongoing navigation between what others call failure and success as an independent artist. Each experience shapes the consciousness that channels these creations.

To this day, love for life and active imagination drive the daily practice of creating. Each brushstroke becomes meditation. Each color choice channels cosmic frequency. The work spreads vibrations of Love, uplifting communities and shifting perspectives across this world. From Hagerstown, Maryland to Seattle's City of Emeralds, the artistic journey continues. Studies at Art Institute of Portland GAD VGP provided technical foundation, though the true teachings flow from dimensions beyond traditional education. Music, dance, mythology, theology, the occult, nature's peace, historical architecture, and ancient books all merge through the primary mediums of acrylic ink and acrylic paint. The style balances wildness with precision, mystery with accessibility. The work continues as long as the breath flows.
